Community Guidelines

HarvestED is a community and educational grow journal for adults interested in lawful cannabis cultivation. These Community Guidelines explain what is and is not allowed when using HarvestED community features.

By publishing content or interacting with other users, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines, our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy .

Adults only

HarvestED is intended only for users who are 21 years of age or older. Content involving or targeting minors is not permitted.

Respect other users

Treat other users with respect. Discussions and disagreements are allowed, but harassment, intimidation and abuse are not.

You must not publish or send content that includes:

harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation;
hate speech or discriminatory statements;
racial, ethnic, religious, gender-based, sexual-orientation, gender-identity or disability-related slurs;
encouragement of violence or harm against another person or group;
targeted insults or repeated unwanted contact;
content intended to humiliate, shame or exploit another person.

Illegal activities and regulated products

HarvestED may only be used in accordance with the laws that apply where you live. You are responsible for determining whether cannabis cultivation and related activities are permitted in your jurisdiction.

You must not use HarvestED to:

offer, sell, purchase, exchange, deliver or distribute cannabis, controlled substances or other prohibited products;
arrange transactions involving illegal or age-restricted products;
promote or facilitate unlawful cultivation or distribution;
help another person avoid law enforcement or regulatory requirements;
encourage another person to participate in illegal activity.

Educational discussion and personal cultivation records are permitted only where the underlying activity is lawful.

Sexual and exploitative content

You must not publish:

pornographic or sexually explicit material;
sexual exploitation or non-consensual intimate content;
content that sexualizes or exploits minors;
requests for sexual services or sexual solicitation.

Violence and dangerous content

You must not publish:

credible threats of violence;
content encouraging self-harm or harm to others;
graphic depictions of real-world injury or violence;
instructions intended to cause injury, property damage or other harm.

Privacy and personal information

Respect the privacy of other people. Do not publish another person’s private information without their permission.

Prohibited personal information includes:

home addresses or precise real-time locations;
private phone numbers or email addresses;
passwords, authentication codes or financial information;
identity documents or other sensitive records;
private photographs, messages or conversations shared without consent.

Spam, fraud and misleading behavior

You must not:

publish spam or repetitive promotional content;
operate scams, phishing schemes or fraudulent offers;
impersonate another person, company or organization;
misrepresent your identity, qualifications or affiliation;
use automated tools to manipulate reactions, comments or engagement;
distribute malware, malicious links or harmful code.

Health and cultivation information

Community content is provided for general informational and educational purposes. It is not medical, legal or professional advice.

You must not:

present unverified information as a guaranteed result;
make deceptive medical or health claims;
claim to diagnose, treat or cure a condition without an appropriate basis;
encourage unsafe use of chemicals, equipment or controlled substances.

Intellectual property

Only upload content that you created or have permission to share. Do not publish material that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights.

Automated content screening

Before publication, textual user content may be automatically screened for a limited set of severe slurs, including certain racial, ethnic, sexual-orientation, gender-identity and similar discriminatory expressions.

Text identified by the filter may be prevented from being published. Automated screening is limited and may not detect every violation. Content that passes the automated check may still violate these Guidelines and may later be reported, reviewed or removed.

Reporting objectionable content

If you see content or behavior that violates these Guidelines, use the reporting tools available in HarvestED.

When submitting a report:

select the reason that most closely describes the violation;
provide additional details when they may help us review the report;
do not submit false, misleading or abusive reports.

Reports are sent to the HarvestED moderation team. We review reports and take appropriate action within 24 hours.

Blocking users and hiding content

You can block users or hide supported content using the controls available in HarvestED. Blocking a user limits their content and interactions from appearing to you.

Blocking or hiding content does not automatically determine whether a violation occurred. A report may still be reviewed by the moderation team.

Enforcement

Depending on the nature, severity and history of a violation, HarvestED may:

prevent content from being published;
hide or permanently remove content;
issue a warning;
limit access to community features;
temporarily suspend an account;
permanently terminate an account;
preserve or disclose information when required by law.

Serious violations may result in immediate content removal or account termination without a prior warning.

Account deletion

Users can permanently delete their HarvestED account from Account settings. Account deletion immediately removes the user’s profile, diaries, photographs, messages, comments, forum posts and replies, and all other user-generated content.

Changes to these Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines as the Service and its community features change. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and provide additional notice where appropriate.
