Why is my recovery code incorrect?

Incorrect PIN code indicates that the recovery code you entered was not accepted.

Compare all four digits with the PIN in the recovery email for the account you are trying to access. Correct the entry and tap SEND.

Check the timer too. After it expires, use SEND CODE AGAIN and read the new recovery email.

The password recovery code is different from an app-unlock PIN. If the error continues, send support the exact message and whether the timer had expired; do not share the code itself.
